Lip PMU — what many visitors search as lip blushing or lip tattoo — is a semi-permanent way to restore soft, even colour to pale, uneven or fading lips. It isn't lipstick: the goal is a natural "your lips but better" tint that flatters your skin tone and looks effortless without makeup.
Aya Seoul is led by Aya, a permanent makeup artist with 15 years of clinical experience and 8 years of instructor experience training PMU artists in Korea. Every lip session starts by mapping your natural lip shape and reading your undertone, so the healed colour looks balanced and true. We work with single-use sterile tools and SGS-certified pigments in a private Gangnam studio.

Lip Blushing
A sheer wash of natural colour — your lips, softly enhanced.
Lip blushing deposits a soft, buildable tint into the lips to enhance their natural shape and even out colour. Rather than a bold lipstick line, it adds a healthy flush — the kind of subtle definition that makes lips look fuller, fresher and more awake, even bare-faced. As a form of semi-permanent lip tattoo, it's designed to read as your own colour, only better.
Aya maps your lip border to your natural shape, then selects a pigment tone that warms or balances your lips based on your undertone. You approve the shade direction before any colour is set, so the result feels like a refinement of your lips, not a change to them.

A topical numbing cream is applied before and throughout to keep the session comfortable. Lips are sensitive, so we work gently and in stages — most clients find it very manageable.
Downtime & healing
Lips look bolder and feel a little dry or chapped for the first 3–5 days, then a light flaking phase passes within the first week. Colour can look faint right after peeling and then "blooms" back as it settles over about 4–6 weeks.

Yes — it's made for a single visit. Your full lip blushing is completed in one appointment. Since most of our clients travel from overseas and can't always come back for the optional 5-week touch-up, Aya intentionally builds extra density during the first session, so you leave with the strongest possible single-visit result. The touch-up is still available anytime if you're returning to Korea or staying longer.

Dark Lip Neutralization
Evening out naturally dark or uneven lip tone — so colour heals true.
Some lips carry naturally deep or uneven tone — often cooler, grey or purplish at the edges. On these lips, a warm pigment alone can heal muddy or patchy. Dark lip neutralization is a colour-correction step that gently counteracts that underlying tone with balancing pigment, creating an even, warmer base so that lip blushing colour can heal soft, bright and true.
Because it works against deeper pigmentation, neutralization is approached patiently and is often completed over more than one session, depending on how cool or saturated your natural lips are. Aya assesses your starting tone in consultation and maps out how many steps your lips are likely to need.

Deeply pigmented lips may need an additional neutralizing session before the final blush tone is layered; we plan this with you so expectations are clear from the start.

It's a preparatory colour-correction step for naturally dark or uneven lips. Once the base is even, lip blushing tone heals far more true.
Deeper natural pigment is corrected gradually for a safe, even result. Aya estimates the likely number of steps in your consultation.
It's designed for darker or cool lips. If your lips are already even, you may not need neutralization at all — Aya will tell you honestly.

Lip Border Enhancement restores definition where the lip line has softened, faded, or become uneven over time. It's also a popular choice for naturally thin or inward-rolled lips when filler isn't desired. Rather than changing your lips, Aya works within the natural lip tissue to subtly define or extend the border for a fuller, more balanced appearance.
Most enhancements range from 1–2 mm — small in measurement, but often significant in visual impact. Extensions beyond the natural lip skin are not performed, as they're more likely to heal unpredictably or develop colour changes over time. Every design begins with a detailed assessment of your lip anatomy to determine the most natural and flattering result.
